Leather upholstery
In terms of furniture, nothing says class more than a seat or cushion made of leather upholstery. Not only does it make for a very durable and comfy material, but it also serves as a status symbol without being too ostentatious. Since tanning leather is a long a tolling process, furniture made from it tend to be more expensive than cloth fabric.
Advantages of leather upholstery include:
• Stronger and more durable than cloth
• Becomes softer over time
• Easy to care for
• Less susceptible to stains and other damageEven though leather upholster demands less attention and care than cloth fabric, it’s still important to know how to take care of it when the time arises. Usually, a special solution and soft terrycloth are needed to rub down leather or suede surfaces to keep them from looking new. Cleaning them any other way could result in more damage.
